Recently renovated, the hotel combines the charm of a place rich in history with a bright and modern environment. LOCAL TRADITION AND MEDITERRANEAN GENEROSITY: OUR RESTAURANT
Inside, the hotel hides a restaurant that is not only the delight of customers who stay with us, but of anyone who wants to spend an evening in the name of traditional, genuine and generous cuisine, rigorously inspired by the principle of seasonality. Our appetizers based on small fried land, savory pies, eggplant crepes open up a range of choices that starts from ravioli and reaches trofie al pesto, passing through the typical Genoese minestrone or pasta and beans. Then the second courses: aubergine parmigiana, tomaxelle, stuffed lettuce and vegetables, roasts, Cima, rib-eye, Ligurian-style rabbit, veal stew, mushrooms and potatoes are just a few examples of our chef’s creations. Finally the desserts: homemade cakes, tiramisu, Catalan cream, chocolate salami and the unmissable apple fritters.
WALK IN THE TIGULLIO BEETWEEN MOUNTAINS, SEA AND VILLAGES
“Walk in the Tigullio between mountains, sea and villages” is a ring itinerary of 65 Km. (of which 35 Km on land and mule tracks, the remainder between small municipal roads and some stretches on asphalt, cement and stones) which, starting from Chiavari, leads to high altitudes to follow the mountain ridges and observe from above that sea mirror of a penetrating blue that will never abandon the walkers for all the time. It goes up to the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Montallegro, along the ridge it crosses the highest peaks of the natural amphitheater of the Gulf of Tigullio reaching 774/801 m. above sea level Finally it descends along ancient paths through little-known rural villages, churches, millenary churches, abbeys, ancient oratories, hospitals, castles, sanctuaries, hidden chapels, special refreshments, people anxious to be able to tell the story of the places. The route then climbs towards Monte di Portofino and the Abbey of San Fruttuoso. From here a pleasant trip by boat (primero) to land and visit Portofino and then again on foot to Santa Margherita Ligure, San Michele di Pagana, Rapallo. Now everything winds along the coast road to finally return to Chiavari not before having known the splendid village of Zoagli and the two stupendous hamlets of San Pietro and Sant’Andrea di Rovereto.
